Before arrival: check the actual approach
Walk from the vehicle entrance to the proposed position. Note gates, bends, overhead obstacles and surface changes, then explain them to the rental contact. Confirm who controls the land and approves placement. Do not equate a space large enough for a cabin with a route suitable for the delivery vehicle.
During use: protect the arrangement
Keep the user path and service access available when parking, materials or other equipment arrive. Retain the agreed service contact and describe problems promptly. Do not attempt to repair, lift or move unsafe equipment; ask the rental team for instructions appropriate to the situation.
Before collection: make the return visit possible
Confirm the end of use and how pickup is requested. Tell the rental contact about changed gates, hours or site contacts, and clear the agreed approach. If the unit is still needed, discuss an extension rather than assuming the scheduled arrangement will change automatically.
Arrival checklist
Confirm the address and receiving contact; check the agreed entrance is open; remove vehicles or materials from the proposed position; and make sure the site contact knows which equipment is expected. Tell the rental team about changed conditions before the vehicle arrives.
Collection checklist
Keep the equipment accessible, identify anything that has changed since delivery, and confirm who can authorise entry. If work is continuing beyond the original date, discuss the extension before collection is due. Do not move or dismantle supplied equipment to make room without first checking the agreed process.
